iReady Middle of the Year (MOY) begins this Wednesday, January 22nd. Lets Prepare!

Good afternoon Crenshaw Families,

 

Happy new year and welcome to the Spring 2025 semester. I have some important news about upcoming testing, so please read until the end to get details on how your scholar can win a prize!

 

We will begin our iReady Middle of the Year Testing this Wednesday, January 22nd for Reading and Thursday, January 23rd for Math. We look forward to seeing our students' growth, and we need your help. Please follow our suggestions to help your scholar have a successful Testing experience.

 

Student devices must be functioning properly for the assessment. If you are experiencing issues with your chromebooks please see Ms. Williams, Assistant Principal.

Each day of testing, we will need our scholars to bring their charged chromebooks and chargers.

To create a productive testing environment, we will require all students to place their phone and other connected devices in their back packs and leave them in the front of their classroom.

Students will need headphones for the assessment. They can bring their own, but we will also provide them.

Finally, Attendance is very important. Please arrive to school on time. Our tardy bell rings at 8:30am.

For a pleasant testing experience, please ensure that scholars are well rested.

 

Breakfast is provided in the morning. Please arrive by 8am to have breakfast. Please encourage your child to eat a healthy breakfast.

It is important that students take this test seriously. To encourage our student to do their best, we are inviting all students who complete their test, without getting a Rush flag alert to an ice cream social.
