Programs and Magnet Pathways
We are one Magnet with three career pathways; Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine (STEMM); Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA); and Business Entrepreneurship and Technology (BET). Board Member Dr. George McKenna, representing Board District 1, office resides on our campus. We boast a long history and prestigious alumni and college going culture. We offer an abundance of scholarship opportunities. We will be the first school in the Los Angeles Unified School District and in the state of California to have 3DE and project-based learning. New to Crenshaw, College Track will provide a safe space for students to explore college and career opportunities as they prepare to earn their bachelor’s degree and amplify the diversity within our country’s workforce. Crenshaw High School is one of three schools in Local district West to have an on-campus Wellness Center with full service to students and the community. We are also one of five schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District to have a Union bank branch on our campus. Recent rennovations have added a state of the art performing arts center, upgrades to our cafeteria, flex seating throughout campus and upgraded meeting spaces.
We are proud to offer many opportunities for our students to receive enrichment and/or support. Crenshaw partners with many outstanding community-based organizations, Universities, and private schools. In addition, we offer a variety AP classes and elective courses in business, computer science, sports medicine, visual and performing arts, and graphic design. We also offer a full range of high school sports options including football, baseball, soccer, volleyball, golf, and more for both young men and women.
